The thing I like most about cycling is the feeling of freedom. You can sit on a bike and go wherever you want and enjoy the adventure. I´m cycling from my childhood but 10 years ago, when I was 15, I definitely became addicted to it. I´m lucky to live in Trutnov a beautiful city close to Krkonoše mountains. The surroundings hills/mountains are great for riding in the summer and for skiing in the winter. I also did some MTB marathon races in the past just for fun with my friends. My next goal is to try a enduro race (everybody speaks about it) and some proper bikepacking adventure.
Because of this lovely sport I have been cycling in Italy, Switzerland, Austria. But my all-time favourite place will be my hometown. When I´m not on the bike I love being outdoors. I found myself in trail building. It´s such a nice thing to do something for the others and then see their enjoyment on the trail. Good relaxation for me is listening to music, reading, and maintain and cleaning my bike (my obsession). 🙂
I moved to Prague because of my study, I am an engineer, and now I have this great oportunity to work here at BIKO and share passion for cycling with people from all over the world. By the way the trails here in Prague are amazing. I was surprised too!
